Soil Loam over alluvial gravel.
Vinification The fruit was hand-picked; at the winery the whole clusters were placed in a fermenter where the wine was in contact with skins and stems. The must received pigeage and/or punchdowns twice daily; fermentation lasted 16 days at which time the wine was pressed down to 227L barriques. The wine was racked off of its lees at 6 months and saw a total of 10 months elevage. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
