Schödl Family Vintage 2020 Bottle Sizes 750ml Country Austria Region Weinviertel Appellation Loidesthal Wine Type Still - Red Varietals Sankt Laurent Farming Organic Soil Löss, Lehm & Sandstone Vinification The ripe and healthy St. Laurent grapes were harvested in the beginning of October in small boxes. After de-stemming the berries, they went into stainless steel fermenter for cold maceration and afterwards the juice went through native fermentation in 10 days. After some more skin contact the wine rest in big oak barrels of 2000L in an old natural loess cellar with a constant temperature of 14° C. After 12 month maturing the wine was blended together and bottled. Back to Current Releases
