The one parcel is broken up into four parts depending on rootstock and vine age. All vineyard work is done by hand. Pruning does not begin until the Spring. Only copper is used in the vineyard.

Aging The wine rests sur lattes for 26 months before disgorgement with no dosage.
Production Extremely limited.
Publication Vinous Rating 94
The 2017 Extra Brut Sans Soufre Présence represents the height of vinous intensity in Champagne. An unusual blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, all from the 2017 harvest, the Présence is loaded with character. The flavors are taught, brisk and intense from start to finish. Présence is a Champagne of extraordinary beauty. Given some time to open, the bubbles dissipate and what is left is truly a wine. That is not always the experience I personally look for, but the Sans Soufre Présence is truly stunning.
