Vineyard The 1er cru vineyards are spread out over 2.8 hectares in three villages: Avize and Grauves in the Côte de Blancs, and Bisseuil in the Marne Valley. The vines average thirty years old. Vines have varied exposures.
Soil Heavy clay-limestone (Argilo calcaire).
Viticulture Vineyards are plowed by tractor and horse. Vines are planted at a density of 7,575 vines/hectare.
Vinification Direct press of the entire harvest with separation of the juice. Fermentation takes place in 15% oak and the rest in stainless steel. Wine is aged on the lees for 7 months before bottling. Malolactic Fermentation completed. The base wine is 2016, along with 30% reserve wine from a solera that began in 2011, which brings body and complexity. Aged for 24 months sur lattes. Disgorgement: September 2018. 4 grams/liter of dosage.
