Vineyard The 1er cru vineyards are spread out over 2.8 hectares in three villages: Avize and Grauves in the Côte de Blancs, Bisseuil in the Marne Valley, and a plot in Côte de Sezanne. The vines average thirty years old. Vines have varied exposures. Soil Limestone, clay-limestone (Argilo calcaire). Viticulture Vineyards are plowed by tractor and horse. Vines are planted at a density of 7,575 vines/hectare. Vinification Direct press of the entire harvest with separation of the juice. Fermentation takes place in 15% oak and the rest in stainless steel. Wine is aged on the lees for 7 months before bottling. Malolactic Fermentation completes naturally. The base wine is 2018, along with 30% reserve wine from a perpetual reserve that began in 2011. Aging Aged for 24 months sur lattes. Disgorged with 3g/ liter dosage. Back to Current Releases
