Vineyard The 2017 Wilde Farm rosè is 100% Dolcetto and comes exclusively from The Fox Hill vineyard, located just south of the town of Ukiah on the Talmage Bench. The soils are well-drained, with high concentrations of gravel and sandstone. The vineyard is owned by Lowell Stone and tended to by Sam Bilbro. The vineyard is planted mostly to Italian varietals, including Barbera, Dolcetto, San Giovese Grosso and Tocai Friulano, amongst others. Fig, apple and plum trees dot the grounds, as well as an acre of olive trees. The Dolcetto we source comes from the cooler, tree-shaded, north-west facing slopes.

Notes Dried rose petals, orange rind and lavender aromas complete the evanescent and intriguing nose of this dark peachy colored wine. Sweet peach & pear flavors generate a softness of flavor and texture that get snapped tight when the fresh natural acidity brings more rose petal and peach skin for the win.
