Vineyard A 50 - 60 degree steep parcel of 0.5 hectares situated 170 to 250 meters above sea level. The vines average 50 years in age. Exposure is south, south-west in Côte Brune. Guyot pruning is employed. Yields are 40hl/ha.
Soil Schist
Viticulture All vineyard work is done by hand. Vineyards are farmed using organic methods without the use of any "phytosanitiares" inputs or any other unnatural by products.
Vinification The grapes are vinified whole cluster and with native yeasts in concrete tanks. Light punchdowns at the start of the fermentation. During bottling, very light filtering.
Aging Aged for at least 18 months in a combination used French oak demi-muid and barrique. Aged for at least one year in bottle before release.
Production Extremely limited.
