Vintage 2018 Bottle Sizes 750ml Country United States Region California Appellation Calaveras County Wine Type White - Still Varietals Pinot Gris Farming Organic (In conversion) Vineyard Rorick Heritage Vineyard is one of the most magical vineyards we have ever visited. Home to over 16 grape varieties, it is one of the few vineyards in California to present all the necessary elements for phenomenal grape growing. From the handful of soil types (schist, quarts, marble, limestone – to name a few) to the different exposures and elevations, Rorick Heritage Vineyard is providing fruit to many of California's top winemakers. Soil Schist Viticulture Matthew Rorick is currently converting all farming practices to organic. Planted in a small plot of pure schist high at the base of the Sierras in the Rorick Heritage Vineyard. Low crop yields and the tiniest clusters we’ve ever seen mean pure and concentrated flavors.
